Ingress Field Trip App

Die App "Field Trip", zu deutsch "Ausflug" von NianticLabs@Google ist eine Art Reiseführer. Die App informiert den Nutzer über Interessantes in seiner Umgebung oder genauer:

"Field Trip is your guide to the cool, hidden, and unique things in the world around you. Field Trip runs in the background on your phone. When you get close to something interesting, it pops up a card with details about the location. No click is required. If you have a headset or bluetooth connected, it can even read the info to you."

Relevanz für Ingress: Beim Starten der Anwendung wird man nach seinen Interessen gefragt. Hier lässt sich unter "Games" auch Ingress angeben. So kann man auch ohne aktiv Ingress zu spielen, schon mal Portale ausspähen. Die Anwendung läuft im Hintergrund und sobald ein Portal in der Nähe ist erhält man eine Benachrichtigung.
